October 2008
Jaguar Club of Greater Las Vegas
Food Drive 2008
This year we are asking the support of local businesses in our 2008 food drive. Thousands of families throughout the Las Vegas valley struggle to put food on the table everyday. One in 10 live in poverty here in Las Vegas and it?s not just homeless looking for something to eat, it?s families who are living paycheck to paycheck that sometimes cannot meet basic needs. From November 1st until November 18th boxes will be placed in participating businesses to collect nonperishable food. On November 18th AAA-Courier.com, Inc. will be collecting the donation boxes and delivering them to: Gods Groceries at the First Christian Church of Las Vegas 101 S. Rancho Las Vegas, Nevada. If you or your business is interested in helping with this food drive please contact AAA-Courier.com, Inc. at 702-278-1175 and ask for Chris or Sherry and we will arrange to have a donation box delivered to you. All businesses will be acknowledged in a compiled list turned in with the food donation and a list of participating businesses and individuals will appear on the Jaguar Club of Greater Las Vegas web site. Thank you for your participation in this years food drive, with your help we can make a difference in the lives of people struggling to make ends meet. List of suggested donations: Proteins:

What? Another dinner? At least we stick to doing what we do best, and if that means eating... well, we're world-class. Thanks to Jim and Sandy Franks, Bernie and Roberta Mesco, and Sally McClary for hosting this one. 2008 Welcome Dinner
Pictures from the January dinner can be viewed here.
